Signification: The adjustment of the frames and fillings can be defined using attachment points on the construction model.
The Z-position (inside or outside) and the withdrawals (width and height) are done separately by specifying the reference points for each type of information but the definition of the withdrawal point and the alignment point is imperative for the system to be operational. These points may be different or identical depending on the settings to be made. The "Z-position definition" point must be present on at least one bar surrounding the mesh so that the "shrinkage" points existing on the bars adjacent to the mesh are taken into account for the positioning and sizing of the frame/filling in the mesh.
The withdrawal points can be present several times on the same stack, the application will use the first point encountered (the one that will give the smallest dimension of the filling or the frame)
Note: The definition of position and withdrawal points at the level of a construction model will have priority over the use of "standard" configuration points (MRS points). These will be ignored by the application as soon as a point definition exists at the model level.
- Use case : Structure hook :
Integration of a frame into a parent structure (veranda, frame composition, curtain wall, shelters,...) Integration of a sash into a structure (frame frame, fixed gate part,...)
Definition of filling:
Integration of a filling in a mesh
Note: The use of points defined in the construction model is not operational for curved shapes. In this case, it is the "standard" points (MRS points) that will be used by the application to set up the fillings and frames even if there is a definition of attachment and filling points to the construction model.
-
Example :If the Z-position and setback points are defined in a "Veranda" structural construction model for the management of the position of the frames between posts, this method will also be used for the installation of roof frames. It will therefore be necessary to also set up the position definition and withdrawal points on the rafter, edge,... stacks so that the frames are correct on the roof.

Definition of structure and filling attachment points The interface in Xlib is not operational, it is necessary to work directly in the database: Table : ModelConstruction_RetractPoints
To position and size the frame or filling in the mesh, for each surrounding bar, Cover scans the list of defined points.
